The Willful Girl Archive is a podcast series created by students in our senior seminar on girl activism. Each episode delves into a pressing issue affecting girls or youth, providing a comprehensive background on its political, historical, and social contexts. Inspired by Sara Ahmed's concept of the "willful girl," which reclaims willfulness as a positive force for social change, the episodes highlight inspiring stories of girl activists who are challenging normative expectations and making significant strides in social transformation. Listeners are encouraged to learn more and get involved through actionable suggestions provided in each episode.
